My Husband Girdhari Kurrey is a daily labourer in a garage. We have two children. Before joining SHG we had a lot of financial problem to meet our needs. Because at the time of need for money I was unable to get it easily. If I take loan from money lender I need to pay 10% of interest. The earning of the husband was not enough to support the family expenses and the schooling of the children. From the time I joined to SHG I have improved my life by coming to the group and learning in the group. I feel meeting other members in the group and the training for the women has made me confident and see my life in a broad way. With the loan obtained from SHG I purchased a tailoring machine and opened a small shop. Now I am able to earn and support the family better. I am the leader for my group and able to motivate other members about the benefit of being a member in the SHG group. I am grateful to JMJ SSS Bhilai.
